Steyning RFC held an EGM on 24th January during which Richard McKenna and Hollie Hodson indicated their intention to step away from their roles as Chairman and Secretary of the rugby club.

On 29th January Jim Manvell was appointed as the new Chairman of Steyning Rugby club. He will be supported by Owain Dennis in the role of Club Secretary.

Our new chairman’s opening message to all members:

“I would like to begin by thanking Hollie and Richard for the incredible hard work they have put into making Steyning RFC what it is today. We are very grateful for their dedication and commitment to the club.

From 1 March, Owain and I will be taking over and will continue their work as we aim to move the club forward.”

Further communications will follow on the structure of the Rugby club and changes for the 2026/27 season.
