Steyning RFC played their first ever match away at Bognor.
What a start it was, with Man of the Match, Club Chairman, and Birthday Boy Jez Stewart getting the first try for the Steyning boys.
Jez opened the scoring early on, and back this up with a second in the first half.
Fly-Half Alex Pell-Stevens also bagged a brace in the first half, and ended up with a tally of 22 points.
Bognor got their only try in the first half after Steyning were caught napping after an infringement and quick tap.
The second half saw veteran player Iain White complete a double of tries off the back of some great ball provided by a dominant pack.
The forwards earned a well deserved try through human bulldozer Matt (Mooey) Hodson, before the final play of the match that saw some of the best play with Jez dotting down for his hat-trick try.
In all a great team performance, but with some aspects need to be addressed in the next training session.
Thanks to Craig Haskins for providing the image of dedication (and bloody nose)
Final Score 5-52
