Firstly the bad news, our seniors team has had to withdraw from all competitive fixtures for the coming season, league & cup. A number of factors (player commitments, mischief from external factors, retirements and departures) have led to a difficult decision being made. We will review this in the early 2025.

On a positive note, we restarted our Mini and Junior programme on Sunday last, which was very well attended, despite the Summer holidays having not ended and we are currently transitioning a team into the Junior leagues and their changes from festivals to team matches, which is an exciting prospect. Our youngest age groups are growing in numbers, with families from a typically non-rugby background enjoying our sport…
Our Vikings & Jutes (Under 12s) start their League season in October and we are confident they will fly the Steyning Flag across the county. As with all our age grade rugby, we welcome all minis and juniors to our beloved sport.
